The Anglo-Kenyan Mosaic Project phase four: A mosaic mural for Addenbrookes Hospital, Cambridge, U.K

In Autumn 2005, seven children and two adults from Kenya worked with me to produce a mosaic mural for one of the major thoroughfares of Addenbrookes Hospital, Cambridge. Thanks are due to many people for the success of this project. first of all, to the visitors themselves; the children - Leon Kago, Ronnie Mutulili, Sharon Naisianoi, Ian and Susan Mwangi, Eunice, and Victoria; their chaperones Philip N'ganga and Zarouf Akini; Dr. and Mrs. Anderson for accomodation, nourishment, and inspiration; and to Lesley Bermingham and Guy Noble of Addenbrookes Arts. We are also grateful to Edward Clay, the former High Commissioner to Kenya
for his rousing speech at the launch ceremony and his continued interest and support
BBC Radio 4 transmitted an interview with the young artists on the childrens' radio programme "Go4It" on Sept 18th 2005.
